This immersive experience blends practical learning with a deeper connection to the land. The workshop, led by a trained Master Herbalist with extensive clinical and practical experience in herbal medicine, brings together traditional plant wisdom with practical, evidence-informed approaches to supporting health through herbs, nutrition, and seasonal living.
Through guided practices, foraging, and herbal preparation, you’ll discover how common plants growing all around us can support digestion, energy, and overall wellbeing—alongside when it may be more appropriate to source high-quality prepared herbs to support specific health needs.
The workshop begins with a short grounding meditation, inviting you to slow down and attune to the season. From there, you’ll be introduced to herbal teas and infusions, learning how to prepare them, taste them, and understand their benefits.
You’ll then head outdoors for a guided foraging walk through the gardens, where you’ll learn to identify seasonal plants such as nettle, cleavers, dandelion, and elderflower. Along the way, you’ll explore their traditional uses, medicinal properties, and the importance of ethical foraging.
Back in the space, you’ll be introduced to tincture-making, a simple and effective way to preserve plant medicine, along with insights into how herbal remedies are used in practice, including guidance on sourcing and working with herbs safely.
The workshop closes with a nourishing wild food lunch, including dishes such as wild garlic pesto wraps, seasonal herbal drinks, and a homemade sweet treat—offering time to relax, connect, and integrate what you’ve learned.
You’ll leave with practical skills, a deeper understanding of plant medicine, and a renewed connection to nature and the rhythms of the season.
