Our Team

The McCabe Family

Since 1996, Lis na Carrig has been lovingly owned by the McCabe family, who have raised their three sons within its historic walls. Over the years, the family has hosted numerous family weddings, parties and get-togethers, and now, driven by their desire to share the estate’s beauty and tranquility, they extend a warm welcome to all who seek to celebrate life’s milestones and reconnect with nature.

Úna Ní Raghallaigh

Estate Manager and co-founder

Una has been fulfilling the role of Estate Manager at Lis na Carrig since 2020. Her previous role as Director of Business Development required long hours and extensive travel. Leaving her job in the fast-paced corporate world she craved a slower pace, deeper connections, and work that resonated with her values.

As the daughter-in-law of Chantal McCabe, the estate owner, Úna is familiar with the history and significance of Lis na Carrig, the ethos of the McCabe family and their vision for the estate. Tasked with creating and delivering a new vision for Lis na Carrig she has spent a lot of time getting to know the inner workings of the estate & surrounding community. She works closely with clients to create and style bespoke and memorable events while also developing our wellness offerings.

When she isn’t chasing after her toddler twins and dog Noeleen she is passionate about carving out time for her wellbeing through yoga, breathwork and music.

Through her efforts, Úna is keen to see the estate evolve from a private haven to a place of connection, healing, growth and celebration.

Costanza Giagnoni

Embodied wellbeing coach and yoga instructor

Through her work, Costanza guides you to tune in with your body’s needs and to understand how to nourish it physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Following a chance meeting of two new first-time mums, trying to navigate motherhood in the depths of a global pandemic, Costanza and Una were brought together by their common passion for a healthy lifestyle, aligned values and a shared vision of offering an authentic and reinvigorating well-being experience to others. In 2022, they formed an exciting and passionate partnership. Costanza started to deliver yoga and well-being services in Aventine Gardens. Ever since they have been working together on the vision and mission of Lis na Carrig and Aventine Gardens.

Having worked for 12+ years in fast-paced companies like KPMG and Google, Costanza is very familiar with the anxiety, stress and burnout that many high performers are dealing with. In the corporate environment, she started to share her in-depth knowledge of Eastern traditional well-being practices to help professionals globally build a balanced lifestyle to achieve more focus, productivity and vitality.

After the birth of her son in 2021 she founded «Mother I Feel You». A consultancy service for mothers that, through mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, yoga, reiki and ayurvedic teachings, supports women to care for themselves and navigate the many transitions into and during motherhood.

Costanza is a 500 hrs qualified Yoga teacher, L2 Reiki practitioner and had the opportunity to study with some of the leading wellbeing specialists in the world. Lino Miele, founder of the Ashtanga Yoga Federation; Chade-Meng Tan, founder of the leadership institute Search Inside Yourself; and Sudhir Tiwari of the Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, the oldest Yoga institute for scientific research. Working for women and children’s rights NGOs in India in 2013 marked the starting point of Costanza’s wellbeing journey. “A journey of the self, through the self, to the self” as described in the Bhagavad Gita, one of India’s ancient texts.

Costanza is committed to supporting others to prioritize their health and happiness, convinced that this will impact the well-being of their children, families, communities and the world at large.

Dr Gillian Dagg

GP, lifestyle medicine physician & tiny habits coach.

Over the years in clinical practice, Dr Gillian Dagg has directly seen that lifestyle factors contribute in a significant way to the physical and mental health problems people encounter. Application of lifestyle medicine’s 6 pillars (nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, relationships and avoidance of substances of abuse) has the potential to prevent 80% of chronic diseases (e.g. cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancers), increase longevity and improve quality of life.

Gillian is passionate about this area of medicine and is determined to empower people to change their own health trajectory.

In an attempt to dedicate time to her own health and wellbeing Gillian began yoga classes with Costanza at Lis na Carrig in 2023. Through this experience, she learned more about the estate and its mission and met with Úna to explore synergies and opportunities for collaborations. As of January 2024 she is resident lifestyle medicine physician at Lis na Carrig.

A busy mum to three children, she is acutely aware of how challenging implementing lifestyle changes can be. To this end, she adopts a compassionate and practical approach when educating patients. As well as information sharing, she explores specific behavioural change strategies individuals can use to bring about sustainable improvements in their lives.
