As we gather in the height of summer, the focus will be on the beautiful Elderflower tree. You will discover how this abundant plant, growing throughout Ireland, can support digestion, vitality, and overall wellbeing. Together, we will explore how to identify and harvest elderflowers safely and learn how to transform them into your own herbal remedies, including syrups, tonics, and nourishing infusions.
The day begins with a gentle grounding meditation, inviting you to slow down, connect with the season, and become more present in nature. From there, you’ll be introduced to a variety of herbal teas, infusions, and tonics, learning how to prepare them, experience their flavours, and understand their traditional and modern uses.
Following this, you’ll enjoy an engaging introduction to iridology. Each participant will receive an iris chart and be guided through mapping their own iris profile, exploring some of the unique markings and their potential significance. This interactive session is both fascinating and informative, offering a new perspective on personal wellbeing.
To close the workshop, we’ll gather to enjoy a refreshing elderflower tonic and homemade healthy sweet treats, creating space to relax, connect, and reflect on the day’s learning.
You will leave with practical skills you can use at home, a deeper appreciation of herbal medicine and iridology, and a renewed connection to nature and seasonal living.
