Are you looking to take your yoga practice to the next level?

Breathwork holds a central place in the practice of yoga, serving as a fundamental bridge between the mind and body.

“When the breath is unsteady so it is the mind, when it stops the mind becomes still. Hence one should learn to master the breath” II:2 Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā

The breath serves as a guide, signaling when to soften into a stretch, when to deepen a posture, and when to release tension. By maintaining a steady and regulated breath throughout the practice, individuals can enter a state of flow, where movement becomes effortless and the mind becomes calm and focused.

This workshop is an introduction to traditional, preparitory and breathing yogic techniques. You will be guided through both theory and practice in the beautiful setting of Lis na Carrig house and gardens. Part of this workshop will be held in the gardens (weather permitting).
