Most people accept the concept that food is medicine. However, people struggle to change their eating patterns. Time pressured modern lifestyle, an unhealthy food environment and availability of ultra-processed food are some of the factors influencing what we consume. For those trying to consciously make informed food choices, the deluge of conflicting information available on nutrition can be confusing.
